Our seminar or keynote focuses on the key skills that poker empowers you to develop. This can be broad or focused on mastering one or two specific core skills and using these in both business and life. Examples of these:

You will risk your entire chip stack many times in a tournament, but this requires strong risk/reward management. You must master emotional control and resilience when facing adversity to maximise your successes.

The Play
Our seminar or keynote is followed by our poker event, which allows players to test these skills in a fun, interactive, dynamic environment. Think bluffers risking it all at the right point, or nervous players betraying their weak hand.
We start with a poker workshop and a game of ‘liars' poker,’ followed by an interactive lesson on poker basics. We’ll then prep you on the art of subverting expectations to tilt poker hands in your favour and how to manage your emotions. After this, we shuffle up and deal the cards, and the real competition begins.
Our friendly dealers and facilitators will play some hands, offer advice, and discuss critical thinking and decision-making in real time. Players will battle at the tables until we crown a champion. Our events are full of laughter, energy and learning. You might even get bitten by the poker bug and want to find an event near you!
With no prior poker experience required and no gambling, it is an inclusive, competitive, and enjoyable event for all players that engages on levels most skill-based events simply can’t match.

Maybe you want to skip the seminar and the social and team-building elements are paramount to your event. We get it, after a long day, a cold drink at the poker table is a fun way to end it.
We start with a poker workshop and a game of ‘liars' poker,’ followed by an interactive lesson on poker basics. Our facilitators and dealers will provide real-time insights into the poker skills needed and how to master them. It is immersive learning, and you can focus on the skills you want to harness for use elsewhere in life. As a professional poker player in a still male-dominated industry and as the founder of the world’s largest female-only poker community, FLIP, Daiva is uniquely positioned to host events focused on women, empowerment, and developing the skills to succeed in similar environments, situations, and businesses.
Whether it is a group of female founders, or a community supporting each other, Fifty-Two loves to run events that are inclusive, fun and build lasting connections. Having designed and hosted female-focused events across the globe for some of the world’s largest poker festivals, Daiva loves to bring this energy and passion to a wider female audience. Some of our favourite events to date have been women-only.

Our co-founder, John, has worked for and founded multiple successful media businesses and is uniquely placed to map out how poker and the skills he learned from it helped him to succeed. (Not least because it provided the seed money for his first-ever business!)

Pricing and Logistics
Our Flagship Poker Event offering starts at £3000, and includes everything you need: dealers, poker tables, chips, hand guides, facilitators, spot prizes and a trophy for the winner!
Every event is bespoke, so we will work on the planning with you, including location feasibility and, if needed, alternatives; then the ideal length ( think a minimum of 3 hours upwards), the number of attendees, which has the most influence on cost, and the ideal vibe and outcome you want from working with us. We have further literature we can share in our initial exploratory call to discuss an event, as well as testimonials and a decade of experience running poker events.

Do we need to know how to play poker?
Our events are designed to cater to players of all experience levels, from beginners to even seasoned players. Our helpful on table reference guides for hands, helpful dealers, and in-room facilitators are there to ensure all players feel comfortable. We want players to learn poker and practice new skills.
How many people can you accommodate?
We can work with small teams for intimate training or scale numbers to meet your needs. Our experience hosting larger poker events means we can tailor solutions for groups of 100+ people. Our discovery meeting is designed to craft the perfect event for your needs.
Can you tell me more about event logistics?
We can hold the event in your office or elsewhere, if that works for you. We can also work with you to identify a range of suitable locations for our events. After that, we handle everything, including tables, chips, dealers, and more. Our skills-based seminars are compatible with all standard presentation technologies.
